| Day 1. (Sun) - Salvador / Lençóis. |

Morning departure to Chapada Diamantina with its trekking nd beautiful waterfalls. Lençóis is considered to be the gateway to Chapada. Arrival, accommodation and sightseeing walk round the small historic city which one day hopes to become a HISTORIC HUMANITY HERITAGE. We suggest dining at Neco’s Bar. |

| Day 2. (Mon) - Lençóis / Lapa Doce Grotto / Pratinha and Blue Well |
Morning visit to Gruta (Grotto) da Lapa Doce where the visit will be by the light from lanterns, which makes the rock formations impressive. On to the da Pratinha and Azul grottos, where we can go snorkel diving in the clean clear waters. In the evening, we climb up the MORRO DO PAI INÁCIO (Father Ignacio’s Mount), one of the post-card settings of the region, to watch the sunset.

| Day 3. (Tues) - Lençóis / Sossego Water Fall / Ribeirão do Meio. |

The day starts with a visit to Cachoeira do Sossego (the Centre Waterfall), where we will be rewarded by the magnificent views from the route and the beautiful waterfall. Today we also will not miss the slippery slope of the RIBEIRO DO MEIO, in which you can slide. |

| Day 4. (Weds) - Lençóis / Torrinha Grotto / Mucugezinho Water Fall / Diabo Well |
Morning visit to the sensational Gruta da Torrinha. On the road to Irecê, with its 8kms of magnificent caverns. Lunch in Mucugezinho and a visit to the waterfall, bathing in the waters of the Poço do Diabo (The Devil’s Pit), which, despite its name, seems like paradise.

| Day 5. (Thurs) - Lençóis / Fumaça Water Fall / Capão Valley / Riachinho. |

Our itinerary includes trekking to the Cachoeira da Fumaça (Smokey Waterfall), another attraction of the tour which is considered unmissable. We finish the day with a relaxing swim in the stream. You finish up tired, but only physically. Mentally you feel great. |

| Day 6. (Fri) - Lençóis / Encantado Well / Blue Well |
Visit to the Poço Encantado (the Enchanted Pool) and a swim in the Poço Azul (The Blue Pool) are one of the best moments of this trip. The Poço Encantado lives up to its name. Even without the sun’s rays falling on the water, July, it is enchanting. The waters of the Poço Azul are deep, but so clear that they seem shallow. Don’t miss it.

| Day 7. (Sat) - Lençóis / Marimbus Swamp / Roncador River / Praia do Forte. |

In the morning, we descend the Rio Roncador (the Snoring River) by canoe, passing through an area known as the “Pantanal da Chapada” (The laminated swamp). The trip seduces you with the natural pools of the Cachoeira do Roncador, where we can bathe. We have a typical barbequed lunch then rest in hammocks under the mangroves. We go by Toyota along the old diamond trails. |

| Day 8. (Sun) - Praia do Forte |
| We will not forget the charm of the fishing village, the history of the Garcia D’ávila Castle, the most imposing in the Americas. We travel with the whales and the turtles from the Tamar Project. The Praia do Forte provides comfortable lodgings, high-class food and lots of distractions. We embark in Jeeps in the morning (not included) to the ruins of the Garcia D’ávila Castle (XVI Century), considered to be the first large Portuguese construction in Brazil. We take a walk in the Sapiranga Ecological Park, where we can observe the transition between the salt marshes and the Atlantic Forest. We can appreciate the rapids of the Rio Pojuca, where in the midst of the beautiful scenery the “jiquis”, types of indigenous nets are used to fish mullet and “robalos”, suspended from types of wooden bridges across the river. |

| Day 9. (Mon) - Praia do Forte/ São Cristóvão / Xingó |

In Sergipe, 23km from the capital, you will find the fourth oldest city in Brazil: SÃO CRISTOVÃO, the first capital of Sergipe, a position which was lost when the then provincial president, Inácio Joaquim Barbosa, moved the capital to Aracaju. Registered as a National Heritage since 1939, São Cristóvão has developed according to the Portuguese urban model. The façades of the houses segregate the social divisions of colonial Brazil. |

| Day 10. (Tue) - Xingo / Catamarã Canyons |
| Morning visit to the Chesf viewpoint (Hydroelectric Power Station) the second biggest of Brazil and sixth of the world between Alagoas and Sergipe. Then by catamaran to the Canyons of São Francisco, passing rock formations (Pedra do Japonês [The Japanese Stone], da Gaviota [the Seagull Stone]), Morro do Macaco (Monkey Peak), and Paraíso do Talhado (Carved Paradise), enjoying the sparkling scenery of the entire canyon which borders Velho Chico. At Talhado tourists can swim in the green clean water of the river. Evenight meal at the hotel with folk dances. |

| Day 11. (Weds) - Xingo / Catamarã Angicos + Piranhas / Penedo |

After breakfast, we take a trip by catamaran, passing Piranhas (Alagoas) and Angicos (Sergipe), stopping at the Restaurant Angicos for a swim in the river, where we can enjoy a seafood, free-range chicken and the famous Friar’s dessert. At the same time, we can take a walk through where Lampião and his band died (optional). We will visit the Historic Centre in Piranhas and visit the Cangaço Museum. |

| Day 12. (Thurs) - Penedo / Historic Tour + Foz de São Francisco / Maceió. |
| After breakfast walking visit of Penedo. It was created by Duarte Coelho in 1560 and is located alongside San Francisco River. Penedo is a historic fort where architecture, landscapes and culture are all well preserved, a reference from brazilian colonial time. Most part of the historical center is from the XVII century, tumbled by National Patrimony Heritage. When walking along the streets you travel back in time, the Empire old times. Penedo used to be a place where members of Portuguese society as well as Holland people and sailors stayed during their expeditions. Catamaran trip to the paradise of St. Francisco River estuary, with its deep, green waters. Anchored in the estuary, we can walk along the dunes covered beaches and bathe in the waters. |

| Day 13. (Fri) - Maceió / Marechal Deodoro / French Beach |

Morning visit to the historical city of Marechal Deodoro with its important architectural, artistic and religious heritage from colonial Brazil. The city was founded in 1522 and is located between the ocean and the Manguaba Lagoon. Marechal Deodoro is the birth place of the first president of Brazil, Marshal Deodoro da Fonseca, who proclaimed the Republic. Their baroque and colonial styles have been carefully preserved on its buildings, churches, houses and at the town hall. The principal attractions are the Convent of St. Francisco (1684), the original church of Our Lady of Conception (1755) and the Museum of Sacred Art, sited in a XVIII Century Franciscan convent. We go on to the French Beach with its warm and crystal waters. |

| Day 14. (Sat) - Maceió / Maragogi / Recife |
| The north Alagoan Littoral, where reefs, extensive coconut groves and primitive beaches, is the last stop of the north coast, special for diving lovers. Maragogi is located at 136km from the capital Maceió. Tourists should take a catamaran tour to the-called galés, which are the reefs of rich flora and fauna. As the boat docks, tourists can already perceive the dimension of Maragogi’s beauty. The guides say that Maragogi has America’s largest continuous coral bank. There are several corals with different tonalities giving a special coloring to the water. During low tide, it does not get deeper than a meter and a half. Arriving at the pools its seems a giant aquarium. For those who like to dive, the guides usually rent snorkels and goggles. |

| Day 15. (Sun) - Recife / Historic Tour / Olinda. |

Visit to the city, including the beach, Boa Viagem church, the Capibaribe and Beberibe Rivers and the Capela Dourada (Golden Chapel). Trip to the Forte das Cinco Pontas (the Five Points Fort), Ruas (streets) do Sol and da Aurora (Old Recife), Forte do Brum (Brum Fort), Pátio de St. Pedro, Campo das Princesas, the Maurício de Nassau Bridge (the oldest in Brazil). Visit to the city of Olinda - Historic and artistic monument (said title awarded by UNESCO), the Heights and church da Sé (1537), the old slave market, the steep streets and convent of St. Francisco (1585). |
